Act of pain

Pain is a strange thing
Full of lies, it will be
Painting stories of tragedy
you will learn to believe

Into the role, perfectly
Pushing at you, screaming
Crying. A disgusting mess of
Madness and grief

Sorry I let the poison of pain
Swallow me; I forgot to see
Every time I clawed at you,
You’ve only responded with love

Loving you was easiest / it was only hard ’cause I loved you so

But baby, it’s so dark
Regardless day or night

Now I am in the waters
Regardless land or sea

And baby, you know I cannot swim!
I cannot breathe
I….

But baby, do not get me wrong
Loving you was the easiest

It was only hard
Because I loved you so

Protect you

I watch you sleep
And hold your hands
Kiss your moan
And cease your frown

I watch you sleep
And know that I can
not protect you
From yourself

I watch you sleep
And really wish I can
“I love you”
I can only hold your hands

The Moon

I am sorry

I am morning dew this
second; lava in the next
Drown you in love now
can’t look at you after
Too little
too much
Never in between

Please

know that I am stuck
in a dream. My reality
crumbles
reconstructs
Know that my love is
never gone; only at times
disguised,
tucked beneath the ugly

With a broken soul, i will protect the whole of you

If knowing will hurt you,
I’ll never have you find
The truth about my broken soul

I’ll have my cuts under sleeves
And tears flowing inwards
I will protect the whole of you

Who hasn’t fallen, after all?

You are broken
if you believe in that

But you can be diamond!
if you just shine through the cracks

Go away, but closer

Go away,
Come back!
No, not so close
Closer…
I love you
Please love me too

Insomnia

Maybe I won’t be able to sleep
From tonight onwards

Alone I would be
As how I was on every sleepless night
Alone I would be
Every night, from tonight

Did you know?
One is the loneliest when awake
Trying, yet
Unable to drift away

Even with your calm breathing next to me
Alone I would be, actually even more
Stuck in this reality
Unable to join you, and the rest of the world
In a parallel universe
Where everyday ends

Love or Anxiety?

Is it love or anxiety
that took the air out of my ribs
taught my heart a mad dance
and has invisible hands that
embrace me at my neck?

I know I’ll be okay, with you

Leap off the cliff into mist of uncertainty I know it’ll be okay, it’ll be okay If it’s with you And whatever the future may bring I know it’s okay, it’s okay Because it’s with you Even if darkness finds me again I know I’m okay, I’m okay Because I’m with you
